A Love That Was Not Meant To Be

Time Will Tell.

Section 1
This is a story that started with a promise to sing to a stranger over the internet. However, guy didn't know how to post his music up. Hence, the promised remained unfulfilled and yet not broken at the same time.

Section 2
Guy falls in love with her. She whispered "Don't fall for me." It's like a broken record left with words of wisdom. Where will this love take him?

Section 3
Guy manages to keep his promise even though it wasn't through the internet. It was through the phone where they both heard each other voice for the first time. She could tell that he was nervous when he sang. It was a promise made and wasn't broken.

Section 4
They were talking on the phone when he told her that he thinks he's in love.
The girl asks, "With whom?"
He replied, "With you."
Girl was left stunned and speechless. She laughed the confession off to avoid awkwardness. Neither of them expected their relationship to come to this. They both knew they were not ready for it. Hence, they remained friends.

Section 5
The guy texted and called her the following day. However, she didn't have her phone with her for the whole day. She only replied his text messages at 1:30 in the morning.

Section 6
They exchanged text messages and talked on the phone the next day. She asked if he wanted to meet up at the mall.
However he had something on and replied, "Plans are made to be ruined."
Hence, they couldn't meet up that day but they exchanged text messages with each other throughout the whole day.

Section 7
She was stuck at her cousin's house. She texted him and told him that she wanted to hear him sing. He called her and sang to her.

Section 8
He called her while he was drunk and told her that he misses her. He said that he doesn’t like her but loves her. She doesn't know where this will take her.

Section 9
They both met up for the first time at the mall. He was just what she thought he would be like and she was just what he thought she would be like too. They spent 4 hours at the mall together. They had lots of fun.

Section 10
They parted ways reluctantly. They hugged each other and went their own separate ways. It was the first time they hug and held hands. In her head, he left her speechless and in his head, she left him breathless.

Section 11
Both of them cherished the time that they spent together. It wasn't long but it was long enough to leave memories in both of their hearts. She wonders when will be the next time they will meet again.

Section 12
Little by little as time goes by, she thinks she’s falling for him. She wants to deny all those unexplainable feelings but can't. They treasure every minute with each other.

Section 13
Does he still like her? Does he knows how she's feeling? What happen on their date was kept between the both of them. However, her heart pumped with excitement every time she thought about their meeting.

Section 14
Her head had been spinning ever since they last saw each other. She has been dreaming about him ever since. She wonders whether if he dreams of her too?

Section 15
She is going to the States for a holiday for two weeks. Will they be able to meet before she leaves?

Section 16
She decided she'll give him the answer to his question after her holiday. Things will change. Are they both ready for the answer?

Section 17
She wants to see him before she goes. However, fate doesn't allow them to see each other. There were many missed opportunities.

Section 18
She misses him while she's away. She wants to hear his voice. Irregardless, she decided to be patient because he told her before, "What you want most is something you won't get."

Section 19
She's knows the answer already and can't wait to get back.

Section 20
What would happen between the both of them? Will she fall in love with him or will they remain friends? The answer will be revealed when she gets back from her trip.

Section 21
She's back home and it is the time for her to answer him. What will she say? What will he do? Will the time away from each other bring them together?

Section 22
She knew her answer a long ago. However, she wanted to hold back because if they were really meant for each other, they will get together. She's excited that she's home.

Section 23
She got home and waits patiently for him to contact her. He didn’t. She wonder what he is up to. Is he doing ok?

Section 24
They met up. She wanted to tell him that she wanted to be with him. However, she is worried that he'll have second thoughts. They hugged and talked for a while. When they parted, he left her with their last kiss.

Section 25
It's been two weeks since they last contacted each other. She misses him badly and didn't know what to do. What he said about, "What we want most is something we won't get." is starting to make sense.

Section26
She wonders if he misses her. It kills her, but he doesn't know. The memories they have together kept repeating in her head. The kiss, the laugh, the voice, the smile, the touch and the hugs

Section 27
Will she have to give up? Will he contact her? Will they have a chance together? Will she start believing again?

Section 28
What she wanted most is what she didn't get. After more than a month, there was no contact, no nothing. She lost all hope. Despite that, she kept on waiting.

Section 29
Her ex-boyfriend asked her out but she declined. It looked hopeless.

Section 30
Three week after she gave up and went out with someone else, he came back to town. However, he left nothing for her, not even an explanation. She could only wish that he is happy and that he didn't regret what have happened. She's happy the way she is now and she hope that he is happy too.

Section 31
Even though both of them had moved on, he still pops up in her head every once in a while. The tears build up. She wishes things could have turn out better but it was not meant to be and they are where they are.

Section 32
In time, time will tell if we were meant to be. Nonetheless, within that time, things weren’t meant to be and I found my happiness and I'm pretty sure you will find yours too.

Section 33

One day, they both met accidentally during the New Year at the river center. It was coincidental just like the first time they did online. However, things weren’t the same. She still misses him through all these time. Did he miss her too? Life was tough on her and still is. She wonders how he is. She never did say goodbye. Will she ever be able to have a chance at it again? She's still waiting…

Epilogue

These feelings and memories were true and I will never forget them. I'll cherish those little time that we spent together. I know it was something that only happens once in a while and I'm glad that those feelings were for you. I'll remember you even when you had forgotten about me. I once liked you but you left a scar in my heart.
